Privacy policy

What the app processes, on your Mac only

• Names, sizes, dates and file identifiers of files and folders in the folders you choose to scan.
• File contents only to compare possible duplicates (a fingerprint and a byte-by-byte check) and to compare similar photos — both on your Mac.
• Your settings, protections, cleanup plan and history.

Where it is stored

In the app's own folder on your Mac. You can reset the scan index and clear the history in Settings › Privacy at any time; this does not change your files.

What is never done

• No data leaves your Mac. The app makes no network requests.
• No account, analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs that collect data.
• No file is deleted permanently. Items you confirm are moved to the Trash, which the app never empties.

Purchases

Ponti Cleaner is sold through the Mac App Store. Payment is handled by Apple; SDS Studio receives no payment details.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
